After 2011, 2015 and 2018 we should have had the fourth Trippin’ Blues Amsterdam in June 2020. We all know what happened … we had to postpone twice but finally we are back!
In June 23, 24, 25 and 26 2022 the capital of The Netherlands will be the décor of the biggest Blues dance event in the area. The festival in a nutshell: Europe’s best teachers, a touristic exchange program, four parties at different venues, live musicians from both Dutch and international origin and a few special DJ’s to blues you away.

Level tracks & painters
There are four dance levels, varying from absolute beginners to advanced. So whether you’ve never danced Blues before or you are an advanced local teacher who won competitions, there is a place for you all! Take a look at the tracks, named by famous Dutch masters of painting.

We try to keep our prices reasonable and yet offer you a choice in different activities. We believe the festival should be affordable for as much dancers as possible.

On Friday afternoon we will take you away on a boat trip to admire the channels of Amsterdam… and of course we will dance 🙂
Transport
The festival will take place all over the town in different venues. A lot to discover for you in our beautiful city. If you are comfortable cycling we recommend to rent a bicycle. Amsterdam is a bike-friendly place since almost all the locals use it for transport.
Tips for hiring a bike:
- Rentabike – cheapest offers
- Black Bikes – best quality bikes
- If you book online in advance, you will get 10% discount. If you try to rent a bike on spot, big chance there will be no bikes available.
If you opt for public transport, google maps is your friend – up-to-date and reliable schedules of trams and busses. The parties run until late so keep in mind that not all tramlines are available during night.
