- Jerome and Danny de Vijlder, a talented father and son duo, will take the stage to share some authentic, soulful guitar blues with us at De Nieuwe Anita. Join us for an evening filled with heartfelt melodies and classic blues vibes.
Jerome de Vijlder is the guitarist of the band Doctor Velvet. He also plays together with his father in Lightnin' Bug and has played together with many good musicians amongst others Sam Ghezzi.
Danny de Vijlder is a blues guitarist known for his extensive experience playing with many American blues artists who toured in Europe, including notable names like Louisiana Red and Boyd Small. He has a rich background in blues music and is recognized for his skilled guitar work in that genre. Danny is the father of Jerome de Vijlder, and together they perform guitar blues, indicating a strong musical family connection and tradition in blues guitar playing.
We warmly welcome Danny and Jerome to the stage of De Nieuwe Anita and hope you'll join us for a night of blues.
We start with a DJ set and will have live music between 21-22 hours. And we finish with a lovely set of our beloved DJ.
